From Albany, take I-90 East (which is the Mass Pike, once you enter Massachusetts), to junction
with I-91 South.
Take I-91 South to junction with I-84 West in Hartford, CT.
From Bradley Airport, follow the signs to I-91 as you exit the Airport. Take I-91 South to junction with
I-84 West in Hartford, CT.
From VT or NH, take I-91 South to junction with I-84 West in Hartford, CT.
For Avon Old Farms Hotel or Avon Old Farms Inn, take I-84 West to exit 43 in Connecticut (exit is called
West Hartford Center/Park Road).
Proceed to the traffic light at the end of the long exit ramp and make a right turn onto Park Road.
Go a very short distance and make a left turn onto Trout Brook Drive at the first light.
Proceed 2.3 miles on Trout Brook Drive to the sixth light and make a left turn onto Albany Avenue (aka US 44).
Follow Albany Avenue (US 44) for 4.5 miles to the junction with Route 10 (on your left) and
Nod Road (on your right).
Avon Old Farms Hotel will be on your left; Avon Old Farms Inn will be on your right.
For The Farmington Inn, take I-84 West to exit 39 in Connecticut (exit is called Route 4, Farmington,
University of Connecticut Health Center).
Proceed to the traffic light at the end of a very long exit ramp (the ramp is about 1 mile) and continue
through that light remaining on Route 4 West for an additional 0.9 miles past that light to the intersection
with Route 10 at another traffic light.
Go through that intersection, remaining on Route 4. The Farmington Inn will be less than 0.1 miles on your left.
TO GO FROM THE FARMINGTON INN TO EITHER THE AVON OLD FARMS INN OR
TO THE AVON OLD FARMS HOTEL
Make a right turn as you exit The Farmington Inn onto Route 4 East.
Go less than 0.1 mile to the light that is at the intersection with Route 10.
Make a left turn onto Route 10 North and proceed 5.5 miles.
Avon Old Farms Hotel will be on your right at the intersection with US 44. Entry driveway will be before
you get to the intersection. If you miss it, make a right at the intersection and there’s another entryway almost
immediately.
For Avon Old Farms Inn, proceed across the intersection. You are now on Nod Road. Parking for Avon Old
Farms Inn will be on your right, about 100 feet past the intersection.
