We met at a choir rehearsal in September 1997. Elissa sings alto and David sings tenor for the Collegiate Chorale, a leading chorus in New York City. We had both just joined the choir and were among the few young members of the group, so we naturally gravitated together. We went for dinner at the Brooklyn Diner on 57th Street the first night we met, and jokingly argued about whether or not New York was part of New England! (You'll have to guess which one of us was right!)		We instantly became best friends and spent the next two years building our friendship. David introduced Elissa to sushi and snowboarding and Elissa inspired David's love of falafels and the Dave Matthews Band. Finally, in April 1999, we decided to take our friendship to another level, and have been in love ever since!
